June 2014 - First haircut. He cooperated pretty well!
July 2014 - Trip to Eden with Mommy and Jay.
August 2014 - Vacation in Cape Cod at Grandpa C. and Grandma Brigid's house. ESPN picnic at Lake Compounce. Brody wasn't so sure of the rides.
September 2014 - Moved to the Toddler room at daycare! Went to Flamig Farm and saw lots of animals.
October 2014 - Visited a pumpkin patch. Went to Lake George to visit some of our friends and got to ride on a boat. Halloween!
November 2014 - Celebrated Thanksgiving with family in Eden.
December 2014 - Christmas. It took Brody awhile to warm up on Christmas morning.
January 2015 - Brody got a very bad cold that kept him home for a week. That was followed by a double ear infection. Rough couple of weeks!
April 2015 - Easter at Grandma Clarke's house. Participated in the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. First dentist visit. Spent a weekend at home with Jay, Grandma C., Grandpa A. and Mike while Mommy and Daddy went on a trip to San Francisco.
Some facts about Brody as he turned two:

Height: ~36 inches (I don't think the nurse got it right at his checkup!)

Favorite Things: reading books (some of his recent favorites are Goodnight Moon, Go Dog Go and Head to Toe, but his favorites change pretty frequently), playing with Jay, running and jumping, pretending to fall, his blankets (burp rags), swinging, chasing the cat, watching Mickey Mouse Club House, Monsters University and Yogi Bear, playing on the iPad, singing and practicing the alphabet and counting.
Brody is talking up a storm these days. We can understand a lot of what he says, but it does help to have something visual to put it into context sometimes. He's really taken to saying "I love YOUUUU!" to me lately. We do it back and forth and it's really cute. When he does his pretend falls, he says "I fell down" and then he falls down again and says "I fell down again."
Brody started really walking in August 2014 and he hasn't slowed down since! He's always trying to keep up with whatever Jay is doing, which is great, but sometimes a little unnerving!
Eating-wise, he's pretty good. His favorite foods are pizza, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and tater tots, applesauce and french toast sticks. He is still a blueberry monster as well!
