In July we went to Cape Cod for a few days and spent some time relaxing and having fun with Grandpa Clarke and Grandma Brigid. Aunt Serena came for two of the days too. We had a really good visit! The boys loved the beach. Here are some pictures and a brief rundown of the trip.
The ocean-side beach we went to was absolutely perfect. I think it was called Bolston Beach, but I could be remembering that incorrectly. Anyway, we would go there at low-tide and there would be this great tide pool for the boys to play in. Then there was a bit of a sand bar and then the ocean. The boys loved playing in the tide pool and just running and exploring on the beach. Who knows how far they would have run if we would have let them!

We went to the bay one morning. Jay especially liked that it wasn't as loud as the ocean. The boys had a great time playing in the sand with Aunt Serena and us!

One afternoon we headed to the ocean, but it was was too chilly and windy to be enjoyable. Well, I should say, enjoyable for the adults. The kids did not care! So we headed to a pond that Grandpa and Brigid know of. The beach is barely existent, so swimming is where it's at. I didn't really get any pictures while in the water, but here are some on the shore.
