April 2016

Sorry there were crickets for so long.  It's been a busy summer!  I'm taking us back to April, which was kind of a quieter month for us.  Jay had his final Good Start meeting for kindergarten and he also started T-ball.  Other than that, it was business as usual.  Here are some pictures:

I found Brody hiding in a small cubby shelf.  I was amazed he was able to fit in there!

Here's Brody showing me how he crammed himself in.

Enjoying an Easter treat from Granny and Grandpa A.

Pretending to be bears.

Too cool for school.

An obstacle course the neighbor boy set up...at least the kids enjoyed it!

Pretending they're in a boat.

Taking advantage of a nice spring day.

This is Brody's toe that had a gate dropped on it back in February...

Jay's opening day of T-Ball.  He's the one at the end with the red sweatshirt.

Jay would not smile for pictures!  He did start to enjoy T-Ball though (most of the time), thankfully!

March 2016

Running behind, as usual.  Here are the highlights of March:

- We went to a Hartford Wolfpack hockey game with our neighbors.  The kids were interested in the game for a few minutes and then we had to distract them with food!

-Jay and I went to another Kindergarten Good Start meeting.  Lots of good information again.

-Aunt Lisa, Aunt Becky and Uncle Greg came for a visit!   We loved having them all here!

-Jay's class opened their "Fancy Fun Restaurant" for two afternoons.  Parents and siblings were invited to come and be served food and drinks by the class.  Jay was so cute and really took his serving job seriously!

-The boys participated in the neighborhood egg hunt.  Brody actually found the golden egg in the 4 and under section.  He didn't even want to pick it up because it had opened up during the hunt and he could see there was no candy in it.  Instead, there was a piece of paper in it with a number that corresponded to a prize...he ended up getting a basket with race cars and candy.  It was a hit!

-We had a quiet Easter at home. The boys searched for eggs and baskets in the morning and then I had a couple of egg hunts for them outside in the afternoon.

Here are lots of pictures from the month:
