Same as Jay, Brody went from being a somewhat difficult newborn to a silly and happy toddler. It's been so much fun watching Jay and Brody grow together. They're really playing with each other more now. Sure, there are fights over toys and sometimes there are tears, but they're also laughing a lot together too.
Some facts about Brody as he turned a year old:
Weight: 22 pounds 6 ounces
Height: 31 inches
Number of Teeth: 6
Clothing Size: 12 months and 18 months
Diaper Size: Pampers 4
Favorite Things: playing with their toys, chasing after balls, pulling all the DVDs out of the drawer, playing with the toy kitchen, looking in books, climbing on the small chair in the living room, taking baths, playing with the water table, getting pushed around in the cozy coupe, climbing the stairs, going into the pantry, dancing, making silly faces
Brody is not yet walking, but he has taken a couple of steps on his own from time to time. He's good at walking while hold someones hands or pushing the cart or lawnmower. He's been practicing standing on his own a lot recently, so we expect he'll take off walking sometime soon.
Brody says mom, dada, Jay, dog and kitty. One morning he said "Jay" and waved to Jay as he came in Brody's room. That was so sweet! Brody and Jay spend a lot of time yelling noises back and forth. I guess they're conversing in their own language. It can be very loud!
Brody is a good eater. He tries pretty much everything given to him and you know immediately if he doesn't like it...he spits it out and tosses it on the floor. He eats some veggies, and, like his brother, he really loves his fruits and meats. Lately he has been eating a lot of strawberries and blueberries. Blueberries do not make for fun diaper changes; consider yourself warned :-)
