Eden - August 2015

I took the boys to Eden to visit my family in August.  We timed it so we could attend the Corn Festival and the Erie County Fair.  It was tiring, but lots of fun!  Here are the pictures and details:

The drive to Eden went mostly well, except that Brody got sick to his stomach a bit over an hour into the trip.  I had to pull over to the side of route 20 to clean everything up.  That was the trip that I learned to always keep a change of clothes readily available.  I had tons of clothes with us, but they were packed away in the trunk.  All I could grab, without unpacking the car, was pajamas!

We went to the Corn Fest with Sarah, Trey, Nicholas and Aunt Becky.  We met Grandma and Aunt Lisa for a BBQ chicken dinner while there.  

At some point before the Corn Fest, Jay got bitten/stung by something.  His leg was terribly swollen, but he didn't let him bother him too much.  It went down after a day or two...

We took the boys to the Corn Festival Parade.  They had a blast!

We all went to Granny's for dinner.  The boys had fun playing with all the toys and they enjoyed taking a walk back to the pond.

Grandpa and I took the boys to Sturgeon Point Marina one evening.  We ended up getting pretty wet while standing on the break wall! The lake was pretty rough!  The boys weren't crazy about that, but they didn't freak out, thankfully :)

We took the boys to the Erie County Fair twice.  They really had a good time!

Last night in Eden.  Exhausted from all the fun!
