January 2015

The first month of 2015 was not that great, unfortunately.  Brody was sick for the first two weeks.  He started out with a very bad cold, which included a high fever.  After his cold subsided, he got a double ear infection.  I took him to the doctor because I had a feeling he had an ear infection (he was super clingy and not eating or sleeping well at all) and she said both ears were bulging.  Poor kid!  She put him on amoxicillin and that cleared his ears up without any trouble.  By the time Brody was well, the month was more than half over!   We didn’t do too much for the remainder of the month but here’s a few things we did do:

-The boys both got haircuts, which neither cooperated too well for.  They’re in need of haircuts right now, but I don’t really want to go through it again!

-Grandpa Clarke stayed over the night before Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  He helped Justin out with the boys while I was at work that day, since my office doesn’t close for that holiday.

-Aimee babysat the boys for the first time since last summer.  We left while Brody was still napping.  Jay had a tough time saying goodbye to us and Brody really lost it when he got up and saw we weren’t there.  She did get Brody calmed down eventually, but we’ll make note not to leave while he’s napping again!  Both boys ended up having a good time with her though and didn’t give her any trouble. This reminds me that I should line up another night for her to watch them!

Here’s the pictures, which is what I know you’re really interested in!
